Concept
Creative Ideation · Concept Development · Visualisation / Mockup
During my time at AFA JCDecaux, I collaborated with the Brand Activation team on a large-scale bus shelter takeover in Aarhus promoting Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 5.
In collaboration with Samsung and their media agency, we defined the campaign’s key visuals, messaging, and product focus during an initial strategy meeting. The goal was to create a high-impact outdoor experience that highlighted the phone’s foldable design and camera features.
I participated in the ideation process, exploring how the shelter itself could become part of the storytelling. Concepts included foldable seating inspired by the Galaxy Z Flip 5, as well as an interactive activation where passersby could test the phone’s camera and download their photo via QR code.
Scope
I contributed across briefing, concept development, and visual direction, before creating realistic Photoshop visualisations of the proposed takeover. These mockups illustrated branding surfaces, product integration, messaging hierarchy, and interactive elements, forming the foundation for the client presentation.
While Samsung developed the final design internally, elements from our proposal — including the folding seat concept — were carried forward into the final campaign. The execution featured a large display installation with voice-over storytelling and QR interaction, generating strong visibility and positive client feedback.
Below are visualisations created as part of the concept development process, followed by a video of the final campaign.
