Kaffino provides a premium at-home coffee experience by leasing fully automatic Jetinno coffee machines to private customers. Through a companion app, users can customise every detail of their drink — creating a personalised coffee moment, every time. The Challenge Kaffino wanted to avoid the typical coffee-brand aesthetic. No obvious coffee beans, no clichés, and no heavy brown palette. The brand needed to feel modern, approachable, and premium while still maintaining a subtle connection to the coffee universe. Logo Design I created a clean, minimal wordmark with subtle references to coffee integrated into the letterforms. Instead of traditional symbols, the identity hints at steam and warmth through shape and flow. Color Strategy Rather than relying on dark browns, I developed a contemporary palette built around coral tones and soft neutrals. The colors reference the warmth of coffee and crema while positioning Kaffino closer to modern lifestyle and subscription brands. Typography A modern sans serif typeface reinforces clarity and simplicity while supporting the digital nature of the brand and its app-based customization experience. Brand in Action To demonstrate the identity in use, I explored applications across business cards, apparel, color systems, and digital touchpoints, showing how the brand scales consistently across physical and digital environments.
